Dear friends, 

Sending you a note after quite some time now. I've been away some time busy with completing my pop n rock album Daayra (you'll just love it) and so many other beautiful things. 

Just a summary: We have worked very hard on the cd Daayra and the making of the video of Daayra in Mumbai in last year. We also gave a Daayra concert in the famous Blue Frog in Mumbai on the 30th of June with Lourens van Haaften, myself and some great musicians from Mumbai: Silman, Amit, Manoj and Dibya. Daayra will be released in October 2011.

So, lots of recitations, workshops and of course music performances. In 2010 I have had tours/concerts Mumbai (India), Cape Town (South Africa) with Antjie Krog organized by Writers Unlimited and in Surinam for the literature festival 'Wan Tru Poema Na Wan Skreki Sani' organized by Schrijversgroep '77. My 2nd book with poems Tiha / Troost has been released in April 2011.

A tour in Surinam is planned in Oct./Nov. 2011 with my pop ‘n rock band.
